According to AAFCO definition, Distiller’s Dried Grains with Solubles is the product obtained after the removal of ethyl alcohol by distillation from the yeast fermentation of a grain or a grain mixture by condensing and drying at least ¾ of the solids of the resultant whole stillage and drying it by methods employed in the grain distilling industry.

In Alcohol production, the starch is fermented to obtain ethyl alcohol, but the remaining components of the grain preserve much of the original nutritional value of the grain, including energy, protein and phosphorous and has conventionally been incorporated into animal feed.

• Yeast fermentation contains 3-5% dried yeast cells that provides vitamins B complex, promotes palatability and increased feed consumption.
• Over 50% of phosphorus is bio available and potential to reduce di-calcium phosphate and therefore lowers ration cost.
• Contains more than 10% fat which is an excellent source of linoleic acid and energy.
• Distillery Process is free of sulphuric acid addition thus product is inorganic sulfur free and thus eliminates the chances of nutritional problems in ruminant diets.
• Product contains low moisture and thus free from all pathogenic fungus, bacteria and salmonella.
• Absence of anti-nutritious factors.
